Animal Farm

I haven’t taught this unit yet, so I’m still looking for ideas!   Any suggestions!?

 

I’m planning to lead in with the brief excerpt in our textbook from Sir Thomas More’s Utopia.  Then, students will come up with their own “utopia”.  Here’s a Utopia Handout I may use/adapt from readwritethink.  I’m also thinking of pairing it w/the “If everyone cared” song from Nickleback. 

AFTER the novel, I think we will do a propaganda unit.
